A Story :: Think, Initiate, and Achieve. :: NIRAM FOUNDATION great Achievement

01-JAN-2022

::  Think, Initiate, and Achieve.  ::  NIRAM FOUNDATION great Achievement  ::

NIRAM FOUNDATION (www.niram-foundation.org) is a Public Charitable Trust.

In 2012, as a Founder of NIRAM, I have started NIRAM FOUNDATION, for doing Social Welfare activities.  I have Registered NIRAM FOUNDATION in 2013.

In 2013-14, I was a President for our Apartment (SNR) Association.  Our Apartment (SNR) Association Treasurer and my Friend Mr. Mahesh G M has explained me, for doing Accountancy in Microsoft Excel.  His suggestions were helped me, to take care of NIRAM FOUNDATION Accounts, as simple and accurate.

Initially, Chartered Accountant Mr. Amareesha P H has helped NIRAM FOUNDATION for few years, in doing ITR (Income Tax Return) process; and also prepared documentation for 12A and 80G (Offline) process.  During that time, by observing NIRAM FOUNDATION Accounts and Trustees' contributions, Mr. Amareesha has not taken any Money for his work; and also, he mentioned that, it was his contribution towards NIRAM FOUNDATION.  Really, he is a very kind Person

Later, he became very busy with his new assignments.  Then, he has suggested me by saying as "Now a days, Income Tax Department (ITD) is making the entire process by Online, and in an easily understandable way to all.  Moreover, you are from Information Technology background.  As per NIRAM FOUNDATION Accounts, if you spend some more time, you can also do Income Tax related task, for your NIRAM FOUNDATION.".

Ya.  His suggestion was good.  But, I never done ITR (Income Tax Return) process by my own, till that time.

At that time, NIRAM FOUNDATION Trustee and Chief Advisor Prof. Ashoka M has suggested me to find an Expert, i.e., another Chartered Accountant.  Because, he thought that there may be an additional Audit Report is required/approved by a Chartered Accountant, while doing Income Tax related task for a Trust.

Few Chartered Accountants have mentioned that, getting 80G approval is a very long process.

Meanwhile, I came to know that Prof. Ashoka does ITR (Income Tax Return) process for his personal.  So, I have mentioned with him about Mr. Amareesha advice, and also said "We will do Income Tax related task for (/ on behalf of) NIRAM FOUNDATION by our own, up to our possibility.".  Prof. Ashoka was happy for my suggestion.

Then, we have filed ITR (Income Tax Return) for two years; and then applied for 12A/12AA/12AB.  NIRAM FOUNDATION's 12A/12AA/12AB application was approved by Income Tax Department (ITD).

In this process, after completion of first ITR (Income Tax Return), I have suggested Income Tax Department (ITD) for the simplification of AADHAAR authentication at end of the ITR (Income Tax Return) process.  Income Tax Department (ITD) has approved my Feedback.  I have observed the changes at website, while doing second ITR (Income Tax Return) process.

With Income Tax Department's (ITD) 12A/12AA/12AB approval, Axis Bank has provided 'Savings Bank Account' for NIRAM FOUNDATION.

Later, we wanted to apply for 80G.  During this process, we have contacted Income Tax Department (ITD) for a clarification.  I got a call from Income Tax Department (ITD) Executive.  He has appreciated us, for doing the entire process by our own; and then, he has provided required information for doing further process.

On 31-DEC-2021, Income Tax Department (ITD) has approved NIRAM FOUNDATION's 80G application.

Really, it's a New Year 2022 Gift for NIRAM FOUNDATION, from Income Tax Department (ITD).

We have completed the entire process, in around one year.  We have saved NIRAM FOUNDATION Trust Money also, by doing the entire process by our own.

Now, Donations (for NIRAM FOUNDATION) are Income Tax Exempted Under Section 80G.

Please have a look at NIRAM FOUNDATION Success Stories (https://www.niram-foundation.org/p/success-stories.html); and make the Donations.

NIRAM FOUNDATION commitment: Each and every Donated Rupee is protected, and served to the needy.
